Use an Open Pitch for anyone to openly record and share best practices with anyone internally with a SalesHood license.
These are the traits of an Open Pitch:
- Searchable and browsable through the SalesHood Pitch tab
- Accessible and viewable to anyone
- Anyone can participate by recording his/her video message/best practice
- Does not have a due date
- No host
Self-serviced, self-paced
Examples of Use Cases to apply Open Pitch:
- A company-wide Elevator Pitch
- “About Me” open pitch where can share something about themselves
- Use it to have anybody share their successes or goals for the upcoming year
Within a Learning Path:
- An open pitch can be added into different learning paths (each containing different participants)
- Since it is “open,” the pitch recording of the participants will be carried over from one learning path to another. Participants from Learning Path 1 will be able to view the recording from participants of Learning Path 2, vice versa.
Use a Scheduled Pitch for training assigned to a specific set of user(s) to be completed within a specific date with a host (manager, coach) overseeing the training.
These are the traits of a Scheduled Pitch:

- Accessible and viewable to anyone
- Contains a specified participant list
- Only the participant of the scheduled pitch will be able to record a pitch recording
