Uploading Files to the Library

If you have a link you would like to add to a category folder in the library, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Navigate to the Library and choose the category folder you’d like to add the link to.

Step 2: Once in the category folder, click  New, and select Link.

Step 3: You will be directed to the following Link screen where you may paste the link, and type in a label. Once finished, click Submit. You’ll also notice the Redirect enabled checkbox. Select if a preview of the link does not appear. This will cause a Continue to appear which will redirect the user to the web page link inserted.

*Note: Adobe Flash URLs or video are not supported and will be redirected to the source link inserted.

Step 4: Once you submit the link, you”ll be directed to the following screen. Edit the Category, Description, or tags by hovering over the option and clicking the Pencil icon. When finished, click Done. Your link will be added to the category folder in the library.

*Note if a label or description is left empty, the fields will be replaced by the link’s label and description.

How to upload an external file to the library / category

If you have an external file (Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel, etc.) that you would like to upload into SalesHood, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Navigate to the Library and choose the category folder you’d like to add the file to.

Step 2: Once in the category folder, click  + New, and select File.

Step 3: You will be directed to the following Files screen where you may upload a new file, or add an existing file already in the SalesHood Library.

 

Upload file: Once you choose the file you’d like to upload, you will be directed to the following screen. Edit the Category, Description, or tags by hovering over the option and clicking the pencil icon. Once finished, click Done. Your file will be added to the category folde

Using an Existing File:

Keep in mind that the file will be stored within SalesHood, but will not automatically update.

Uploading files into category folders

Please follow these steps below on how to upload files into category folders:

Step 1 – In the content library, click on the [+ New] tab at the top left of the category icons. Select File from the drop-down menu.


Step 2: A page will appear where you will be able to upload your file(s).

Upload: This tab is how you will be uploading a file from your computer…

a) Click the browse link:

b) From your computer central drive, select the file you wish to upload:

c) The file will now appear on the page:

d) Assign the file to a category and description by clicking on the [pencil] icons next to the section:

Category:


Description:


e) Click Done when finished. The file will appear when you drill into the category folder that it was assigned to:

Existing File: This feature allows you to move existing documents that are already in the system so they can be managed in different categories.

a) Type in the name of the existing file you wish to assign to a category. The list will identify your text and populate a list.

b) Assign it to the proper category:

c) Click Done when you are finished.


When you drill into the category folder, the file will be blended along with the huddles inside the folder.
