Uploading Files and Links to the Library

SalesHood Library allows you to add External Sources in the form of Links. You can also add files to your SalesHood Library from the third-party services likes Box, Google Drive, SharePoint, Dropbox, Presentations (Shufflrr)

If you have a link you would like to add to a Category folder in the library, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Navigate to the Library and choose the Category folder you’d like to add the link to.

Step 2: Once in the Category folder, click  New, and select Link.

Step 3: You will be directed to the following Link screen where you can paste the URL, and type in a Label. Once finished, click Submit. 

You’ll also notice the Redirect enabled checkbox. Select if a preview of the link does not appear. This will cause a Continue to appear which will redirect the user to the web page link inserted.

*Note: Adobe Flash URLs or video are not supported and will be redirected to the source link inserted.

Step 4: Once you submit the link, you can Edit the Category, Description, or tags by hovering over the option and clicking the Pencil icon. When finished, click Done. Your link will be added to the Category folder in the library.

Note: If a label or description is left empty, the fields will be replaced by the link’s label and description.

How to add files from third-party external source

This option is used to add the files into the SalesHood Library/Category through third-party service such as Box, Google Drive, SharePoint, Dropbox, Presentations (Shufflrr)

Step 1: Select the External Source from where you’d like to add the files. When clicked on the source button, you may be asked to login to authorize your access. Please login to the source portal to continue.

Step 2: Click on the + Add button and select the file(s).

Step 3: Once the file is selected, you can Edit the Category, Description, and Tags by hovering over the Pencil icon. Once finished, click Done.

The file(s) will be synced from the external services and stored in the SalesHood Library/Category.

How to upload an external file to the Library/Category

SalesHood Library allows you to store external files form your device’s drive into the Library/Category. If you have an external file (Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) that you would like to upload into SalesHood, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Navigate to the Library and choose the category folder you’d like to add the file to.

Step 2: Once in the category folder, click  + New, and select File.

Step 3: You will be directed to the following Files screen where you may Upload a new file, or add an Existing File already in the SalesHood Library.

Upload: Once you choose the file you’d like to upload, you can Edit the Category, Description, or tags by hovering over the option and clicking the pencil icon. Once finished, click Done. Your file will be added to the category folder.

Existing File: If you want to add a File that is already stored in SalesHood Library, you can click on the Existing File option and type in the file name in the search bar. Once the File is selected, you can Edit the Category, Description, or tags by hovering over the pencil icon. Once finished, click Done.

Note: Keep in mind that the file will be stored within SalesHood, but will not automatically update.
