While recording a Video for Pitch, Story, or Deal Win. The Video and Screen Recorder option allow users to record and share videos of themselves, their screen, or both!
Video/Screen Recording
Before you record a video or screen in SalesHood, ensure that the following settings are enabled on your web browser and computer:
Camera and Microphone permissions
- Google Chrome permissions can be enabled by clicking on the padlock icon in the address. You will then want to select “Allow” to set the record audio and video permissions.

- Stable Network Connection
- Using a Supported Web Browser
Playing Video
When a video is uploaded in a Pitch Module, Story/Deal Win, etc. can be played by just clicking on the Play button.
Please ensure you have a Stable Network Connection and using a Supported Web Browser

What to do if an issue is encountered while recording or playing videos?
If you encounter any issues while screen recording or playing videos in SalesHood, please contact support@saleshood.com with the following information as it will help our team expedite the investigation.
Information to be included for issues related to recording
- The device being used to access SalesHood
- Which browser (or please indicate if this is in the mobile app), additionally please provide the version you are currently using.
- (Web only) Any add-ons or extensions in your browser (such as Ad Block)
- Is the issue also occurring in Incognito mode? Have you tried using Incognito mode?
- Are other users in your company experiencing this same issue? Please provide their names if so.
- Is the issue isolated to one page, or is it across all pages (for example, you cannot upload a pitch to any Huddle, or cannot record in any Huddle module).
- When did this issue occur? Please be as specific as possible, this will help us when analyzing the logs for potential errors.
- Does your company use any security software that could potentially block SalesHood?
- Can you record with this test site https://www.webrtc-experiment.com/RecordRTC/?
- Have you tried using Firefox?
- Confirm that your Camera and Video permissions are setup correctly
