How to create or reset your Shufflrr password

Introduction

The SalesHood/Shufflrr integration deeply connects the SalesHood platform with Shufflrr to offer best-in-class presentation management. As part of the integration, Shufflrr accounts are automatically created for a user when they access Shufflrr for the first time through SalesHood. Since this happens through the SSO connection between Shufflrr and SalesHood, users do not have a Shufflrr password when their account is initially created. However, a Shufflrr password is needed to carry out the following actions:

  • Sync Shufflrr content into the SalesHood Library (Coaches and Publishers only).
  • Use the SalesLoft Integration to generate shareable links to content.

The purpose of this guide is to walk you through creating a new Shufflrr password or resetting an existing one in order to carry out the above actions.

Steps to Create/Reset your Shufflrr Password

  1. Navigate to the Shufflrr login screen.
  2. Click the “Forgot password?” link.
  3. Enter your email address and submit the form.
  4. Follow the steps in the email from Shufflrr to reset your password.
Note: Although you are “resetting” your password, you will create a new password here if you do not already have one.

FAQs

Why do I need a Shufflrr password?

A Shufflrr password is needed to carry out the following actions:

  • Sync Shufflrr content into the SalesHood Library (Coaches and Publishers only).
  • Use the SalesLoft Integration to generate shareable links to content.

Is my Shufflrr password the same as my SalesHood password?

Not necessarily. Your Shufflrr password is created independently from your SalesHood password. If your SalesHood password is updated, then your Shufflrr password will NOT automatically be updated (and vice versa).

If my organization uses SSO, do I still need a Shufflrr password?

Yes. The Shufflrr password is independent from your organization’s SSO. Regardless of your organization’s SSO configuration (or lack thereof), a username and password is the only way to authenticate the Shufflrr API which powers the SalesHood/Shufflrr integration.
