The Basics of SalesHood Analytics
The SalesHood Report Builder allow you to easily create and modify reports and visualization to measure the effectiveness of enablement content and training programs, and to track the activity of individuals, teams, and segments within SalesHood.
A report is a chart or table designed to surface enablement analytics for stakeholders to review.
A report contains one or more aggregation functions applied to numerical facts, optionally segmented by one or more attributes. We put metrics in the context of certain attributes to bring out trends and patterns that lead to useful insights.

There are two ways to build your own customized report. The first is customize a Standard Report. The other is to create a new report from scratch. These are discussed below.
Standard Report Templates
SalesHood Reporting contains Pre-built reports for your convenience. These reports are introduced below and can be customized for your use cases.
To access the Standard Reports Templates:
- Navigate to the Reports Builder.
- Select “Open”
- Select “All”
- SalesHood Standard Reports display the lock icon next to their title.

Customizing a Standard Report
Advantages:
- One of the many Standard Report Templates is close to covering your use case and can be used as a guide to customize your own.
- It’s quick and easy as you would only need to customize columns (Measures & Attributes) or the chart type from the existing template.
Disadvantage:
- The templates do not serve your use case.
Creating a New Report From Scratch
Advantages:
- Allows you to build a report that is focused solely on the use case you are solving for.
Disadvantage:
- Requires a deeper understanding of how to create and manipulate reports using the Reports Builder.
- Can take longer as you are building an entirely new report from scratch.
