Exercise Module Question Types

In SalesHood, there seven unique question types that can be added to Exercise modules by content creators. This article will help you understand what each one of these options is, and how they can be used to gather information from your participant users.

1. Text

The text question type provides an essay format input form for your users to type into. This is the defaulted question type when adding additional questions to an exercise module. This question type is great for gathering feedback, or providing a forum for your participant users to show off their writing skills!

2. Star Rating

Star rating questions are displayed as five greyed out stars, and the participant user completes this question type by selecting a number of these stars to fill in. This is a great way to get a feel for your participant’s feelings toward things like job happiness, deal confidence, whether they enjoyed a particular meeting — the stars are the limit!

3. File Upload

This final question type allows participant users to upload their own files in response to questions. This is a great way to integrate outside sources into SalesHood and gather multiple documents into the same hub. Please see this article for a full list of supported file types and sizes.

4. Date

This question type adds a text field in which the user can type in or select a date using the calendar button to the right of the field. This is a great way to gather information on things like start dates, completion dates, meeting dates, etc.

6. Slider

Slider questions are similar to Star Rating questions, with a bit more flexibility. This question type prompts the participant user to pick a point on a sliding scale in response. This question type is great for self feedback, peer feedback, or any other topics you would like your users to “rate”.
